With El Calafate as a starting point, we invite you to live an incredible glacial adventure of one (1) full day in the waters of the mythical Lake Argentino; the largest and most incredible lake in Argentina.

 

Packed with history and with an imposing natural beauty, Lake Argentino frames some of the most imposing and famous glaciers in the world, such as the Perito Moreno, the Uppsala and the Spegazzini.

The Glaciers 360 ° excursion, in its two variants, promises to be an unforgettable experience, and is an unmissable event for every intrepid visitor to Patagonia.

Option 1
Ríos de Hielo:
Sail between imposing icebergs and ancient glaciers.

 

Enjoy a unique experience when sailing among huge icebergs that emerge from the Upsala Glacier, the largest glacier in this part of the Los Glaciares National Park, until you reach the front of it.

 

After navigating its front we will go to the Spegazzini Glacier, an imposing ice colossus that enjoys being the highest glacier in the Los Glaciares National Park. On the way to it we can observe the Heim, Peineta and Seco Glacier.

This service takes the Glaciers Experience to another level, allowing us a preferential location in one of the exclusive rooms of our boat, where we will be permanently assisted by a host and a bilingual guide (Spanish and English).


This option includes a breakfast with coffee, tea, orange juice, oatmeal raisin cookie and cheese cookie; trio of sweet and savory mini muffins. Then a snack: tasting of smoked and Creole (cheese and cold cuts) accompanied by eggplant pate with dried tomatoes marinated on toasted bread bruschetta. As main course we will offer lamb casserole or lentil stew (vegetarian) and as a dessert mousse of dulce de leche with red fruits, crumble and cookies.

Cold drinks with and without alcohol and cafeteria throughout the tour.

At the end of the tour we will give a photograph as a souvenir of the visit.

 

Perito Moreno footbridges


In the afternoon, at the end of the Ríos de Hielo excursion, we return to the port where the vehicle awaits us next to a guide from the National Park to start the tour that will take us to the walkways in front of the Perito Moreno Glacier.


After entering the area of ​​the Patagonian Andean Forest, we will stop at the curve of the sighs.

Tip: Prepare your camera, this is an excellent panoramic point to appreciate the magnitude of the Perito Moreno Glacier.

Then we continue to the walkways that run along the front of the glacier, where we will have free time to walk through them and enjoy incredible views and ruptures of the glacier in the middle of the ancient and lush Patagonian Forest.

Morning:


Lago Argentino – on a northwest course to Punta Avellaneda and Boca del Diablo. Spegazzini Glacier, landing at Las Vacas Station, in the Spegazzini Canal Bay. Here our guides coordinate a trek with a view of the old Settlers’ Station identifying flora and fauna.
Visit the Upsala Canal and navigate to Herminita Peninsula – limit of the navigation zone allowed by National Parks – panoramic view of the Glacier.

Lunch during navigation

 

Afternoon:

 

Navigate to Canal de los Tempanos, visit the PERITO MORENO GLACIER North Wall and dissembark in the Moreno Port.
